Down the foggy ruins of time...

Another week comes to an end...funny how the years go faster the older you get...is it really approaching Halloween again? seems like only a few months ago since the last one...then it will be bonfire night...then Christmas...another year is racing towards it's end...hope you have all done your Christmas shopping...

As before I have been revisiting my archive and changing the post processing...altering the appearance and the feel...

As you can see, monochrome is still in my head...tones...greys, blacks and whites...

...some are from my time in the UAE...

...whilst others are closer to home...

...occasionally just over the sea...

An enjoyable process and one that will fill the winter nights to come...

Last weekend however, we did manage  day out...to Blickling Hall in Norfolk - the ancestral home and birth place of Anne Boleyn...

I think we will return - lovely place to visit and great for photographs...if I am lucky enough to get some good light...who knows!!

However, I did manage to get out once or twice during the week and here are a selection of natural history images from autumn...

On top of all that...I have also launched a new Facebook page - it can be found here... because you see in addition to being a photographer, I am also a trained ecologist...this page will have environmental and ecological news and images...so if you want you can also check out my updates there as well and here... or of course here. And as you may well know I also regularly tweet news and images here...

I hope you can all join me next week when who knows what I will have been doing!!!

TTFN...
